FAIRBAIRN NETBALL SHINES AT PATRIOT TOURNAMENT

During the recent school holiday, Fairbairn College Netball took part in the Patriot Tournament, entering a mixed team from U15 to U19 in a highly competitive U19 division.

Despite limited time to train together as a unit, the girls delivered an outstanding performance 💪🔥

📊 Tournament Highlights:

•      10 matches played
•      6 wins secured
•      Victories over strong schools including Knysna, Laborie, and Kairos

The team showed incredible determination, narrowly losing the final to De Kuilen High School (18–16) a remarkable achievement against top opposition 👏

🌟 Special Recognition

A big congratulations to Casey Smith, our youngest player, who has been selected for the first round of a representative squad. Out of 16 schools, only 20 players were chosen. The final squad will be confirmed soon, with a tour to Malaysia next year on the horizon. Well done, Casey we are incredibly proud of you!

🏐 More Success on Court

Fairbairn also played two friendly matches against DF Akademie on Tuesday, securing wins against both their U18B and U18C teams.

👏 Well done to all our players your hard work, commitment, and team spirit truly reflect the pride of Fairbairn College.

💚 We look forward to an exciting and successful season ahead!
